RE/MAX Mountain West is an independently owned and operated company of real estate professionals serving Western Colorado. Our three offices came about as a result of a merger of two companies - RE/MAX Mountain West of Delta County and RE/MAX Real Estate Corner of Garfield County. As far back as 1976 we have been in the business of providing excellent real estate service to our clients.

Our market presence is strong, covering more than 10,000 square miles of the Western Slope of Colorado. In Delta County alone, our offices represent nearly 50% of the market share. We have MLS memberships in two separate MLS systems - CREN and Aspen/Glenwood Springs. Collectively, our offices are comprised of over thirty-five individuals including full-time Broker Associates, licensed Personal Assistants, full-time Secretaries and Office Managers, and an Administrative Manager.

Our Broker Associates all work within the concept of the RE/MAX system, which is different from other real estate companies. In the RE/MAX system, Agents keep the maximum of their commissions instead of splitting them with their company. In return, each Agent pays his/her fair share of operating expenses to run the office. In a sense, each Agent is a company within a company, in business for themselves but not by themselves. Just like any independent business owner, if the RE/MAX Agent doesn't make sales, he/she will actually lose money. This system has the effect of guaranteeing that the Agents in the RE/MAX office are no-nonsense, hard-working professionals who are committed to their real estate business - the type of Agent you want selling your property or helping you find the right property to buy.

Our RE/MAX professionals dedicate themselves to not only maintaining the required educational course work involved in licensing, they are serious about obtaining designations that promote excellence in service to their clients. Many of our Associates currently hold designations such as GRI, CRS, ABR, CCIM and e-Pro, and most of the staff are currently working to add designations in order to more fully serve the community!
